  • For the pie:
  • Refer to our shortcrust pastry recipe
  • For the crumble:
  • 1/2 cup of Oatbox granola
  • 1/4 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of quick oats
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • For the apple filling:
  • 6 big apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp of flour
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar or maple syrup
  • The juice of half a lemon


  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients for the crumble. The mixture should hold together when pressed in your hands.
  3. 3. In another bowl, mix apples with flour, cinnamon, brown sugar (or maple syrup) and lemon juice.
  4. 4. Fill the bottom of your pie crust with the apple mixture and top with the crumble.
  5. 5. Bake in a conventional oven for 60 minutes.
