Apple Crumble Pie

Ingredients
- For the pie:
- Refer to our shortcrust pastry recipe
- For the crumble:
- 1/2 cup of Oatbox granola
- 1/4 cup of rolled oats
- 1 cup of quick oats
- 1/3 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- For the apple filling:
- 6 big apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp of flour
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar or maple syrup
- The juice of half a lemon
Preparation
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients for the crumble. The mixture should hold together when pressed in your hands.
- 3. In another bowl, mix apples with flour, cinnamon, brown sugar (or maple syrup) and lemon juice.
- 4. Fill the bottom of your pie crust with the apple mixture and top with the crumble.
- 5. Bake in a conventional oven for 60 minutes.
