Apple crumble

Ingredients

  • 15 Cortland apples, peeled and cut into slices
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 ½ cups (370 ml) of brown sugar
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) of vanilla
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) of cinnamon
  • 1 ½ (370 ml) cups of quick oats
  • ¾ (180 ml) cup of large flake oats
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of Oatbox Apple Pie granola
  • 1 ½ cups (250 ml) of flour
  • ¾ (180 ml) cup of melted butter + 1 tbsp (15 ml) for the baking mold
  • ½ tsp (3 ml) of salt

Preparation

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix the apples with the lemon juice, ½ cup of brown sugar, 1 tsp of vanille, and cinnamon.
  3. 3. Grease the baking mold with 1 tbsp of butter, then add in the apples.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix in the rest of the ingredients until a homogenous dough is formed.
  5. 5. Add the dough on top of the apples and let bake for 45 minutes.
  6. 6. Let cool before serving.
