Baked French toast

Baked French toast

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of 15% cooking cream
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • Oatbox Salted Caramel Granola
  • Powdered sugar
  • Fruit, to taste

Preparation

  1. 1. Grease a baking dish with the butter.
  2. 2. Cut the bread into thick slices or into cubes and place in the pan.
  3. 3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, maple sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour evenly over the bread.
  4. 4. Refrigerate for a minimum of two hours.
  5. 5. Pre-heat oven to 350°F and bake 45 minutes or until crispy brown. Serve with granola, powdered sugar and fresh fruit.
