Golden milk

Golden milk

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 tbsp of ground turmeric
  • 2 tsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp of granulated sugar or maple syrup
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • Three thick slices of fresh ginger

Preparation

  1. 1. In a small pot, over low heat, melt the coconut oil and incorporate the turmeric.
  2. 2. Heat this mixture for 2 minutes and then add the cinnamon, the sugar or the maple syrup and the cayenne pepper.
  3. 3. Add steadily the soy milk and the slices of ginger
  4. 4. Heat over low heat until it reaches the right temperature for you, discard the ginger and drink immediately.
  5. 5. Enjoy this anti-inflammatory drink! It will give your body a boost of medicinal magic!
