Ingredients
- 1 cup of quick oats
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/4 cup of millet
- 2 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 tsp of ground ginger
- 1 tsp of allspice
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 2 tbsp of soft butter
- 1 egg
- 10 ml of vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 3/4 cup of grated carrots
Preparation
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
- 2. In a bowl, mix together the oats, flour, millet, spices and salt. Set aside.
- 3. In a second, larger bowl, mix the butter and egg with a spoon.
- 4. Add the vanilla, maple syrup, milk and carrots.
- 5. Mix the first dry mix with the second wet mix using a spoon.
- 6. Shape 16 flattened balls and lay onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
- 7. Bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool before removing from the baking sheet.
