Ricotta & Granola Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup of buckwheat
  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp of sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup of Oatbox granola
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of chilli powder, divided in two
  • 475 g of ricotta
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 toasts
  • Organic churned honey from Miels d’Anicet, to taste

Preparation

  1. 1. In a pan, over low heat, roast the almonds, buckwheat, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds. Turn off the heat and add the granola, soy sauce and 1/4 tsp of chilli powder. Once well combined, let cool.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta, olive oil, salt, pepper and remaining chilli powder (1/4 tsp).
  3. 3. Spread the ricotta mixture onto the toasts and top with salted granola. Drizzle with honey and enjoy immediately!
